I kept reading because I was intrigued. In the end, I was kind of disappointed. I didn't really enjoy the main character very much. I was waiting for some type of redemption moment for her, but I didn't really feel like it came around. Overall, I think the book was dealing with important issues through a lens that I don't identify with anymore. Therefore, It was a little underwhelming for me.
