The Glassmaker
by Tracy Chevalier
I love Tracy Chevalier so I was excited to listen to her newest release. The Glass Maker integrates magical realism into her typical female focused historical fiction, telling the story of a family that travels through time making glass beads in Italy.
If you like historical fiction and time travel, I think you'll love this. This particular combination didn't hit as strongly for me because I felt the time jumps cut off my connection to the characters each time. I much prefer A Single Thread and At the Edge of the Orchard.
