This book just didn't grab my attention at all. I didn't like the narrator, he came off as very whiny and I was super uninterested in his problems. Also there was also something off about the writing style was not to my tastes and lines like

His motto is “Simul adoratur,” which if you plugged that into Google Translate, it’d humble-brag: “He is worshiped.”

made me cringe

This book might very well be good but I have no interest in finding out if it is.
