I think I am getting over YA fantasies. I really enjoyed this series but I was never a fan of the romance between Deka and Keita. I really did not like the ending, it took the rating way down from me. it was way too fluffy and not in a good way. The love between Deka and Keita always forced and fake and I really disliked how he became a God as well. From book one, I wished it was more slowburn and more real.
I was surprised by White Hands becoming a God but that I kinda liked that. I did love that Belcalis become emperor, I did not see that coming
