I felt very disconnected from the characters. So much of the book is just her inner monolog. They spent 6 years getting to know him and instead of experiencing that with the characters we just learn about it after the fact from her. These moments when they were creating connections. Not fleshed out.

And the book needs a proofread. Missing words all throughout the book.
