Do not expect even one ounce of happiness in this whole book!! I was skeptical of this at first bc i thought it was just vegan propaganda but it actually is kind of more about the lengths people will go to to have a child, and how desensitized one can become to violence if they’re being paid to do so. AND its also vegan propaganda but it works. Sick and twisted thats fs, women authors are always the most creative when it comes to brutality 🥴 It was also really focused on rhetoric and language that shapes our ways of knowing, the power of words and semiotics.
Graphic: Animal cruelty, Animal death, Child abuse, Child death, Gore, Torture, Pregnancy
Moderate: Pedophilia, Rape
There’s a lot of mention of SA but no detailed descriptions, there is detailed descriptions of torture, slaughter, gore, and torture of pregnant women tho.
