Innocent

I got an email from Net Galley about this. I’d never heard of the book or author before. But the synopsis intrigued me. I ended up starting this as soon as I downloaded the file. The day I was accepted for the book.
I felt like the beginning was a little weak. I always want to give books a few chapters to get going. But I straight away wondered if this was for me.
As the book progressed a little I struggled to care. They didn’t give me a reason to care for the victim.
The jumping POV, especially mid chapter, made it difficult to keep on track. I found myself getting lost.
In the end I DNFd at 32%. I couldn’t force myself to carry on and continue to get lost with how it’s written.
