Slaying the Vampire Conqueror by Carissa Broadbent
4.0
Slaying the Vampire Conqueror by Carissa Broadbent is an exhilarating blend of epic fantasy and forbidden romance, weaving a dark and addictive tale of war, magic, and the ever-blurred lines between good and evil. The heroine is a force to be reckoned with—strong, complex, and on an unforgettable journey of self-discovery. What really drew me in was the cult element, as I’m always captivated by the deep exploration of why a character might join or stay within such a group. And then there’s the brooding, grumpy male lead, whose slow-burn connection with the heroine was impossible to resist. Watching them lean on each other and grow together added such a rich layer to the story. I had no idea this was book 2.5 in the series, and now I’m kicking myself for not reading it sooner. My mind is buzzing with theories about how this will tie into the larger plot in the next books!
