Blink by Malcolm Gladwell
5.0

I believe this book is even more relevant then when it was written nine years ago. Although, it was relevant then as well.

Blink takes a look at decisions that are made instantaneously. Most importantly it looks at how education and training impact those decisions.

Like all of Gladwell's works complex psychological principles are talked about in a way that makes it easy to understand and relevant to everyday situations. None of the concepts in this book were new to me, however I had always read about them in a psychology textbook. They were never made as relevant as they are in Gladwell's books.

If I could pick one book for everyone to read, out of my selection this year, it would be Gladwell's Blink.
