In this issue, we pick up with Deadpool taking his Project X chip out of his neck. Within a very short amount of time, the whole Project X army is after him. Deadpool leads them down an alley where he leave behind a bunch of explosives. When they go off, Deadpool escapes. However, one of the agents absorbed most of the blast, so the agents and mutants didn't all die. When Deadpool goes to the lab to take out as many agents as he can, he runs into Sabertooth. While they are fighting, Deadpool starts to turn back into mush. When the agents break Deadpool down until only his hand is left, they ship the hand to Wolverine (who also opposes Project X).

Favorite lines:
When Deadpool is cutting out the tech that the people of Project X put in him, he says goodbye to each thing. His final goodbye: "Goodbye Scarecrow... I think I'll miss you most of all."
