When I started this book I did not know there was a book before this one but it did not matter this could be read as a standalone. I felt like the start of the book was slow but as it progressed I started liking these characters more. Harlow is very much the black cat girlie where Harrison is the golden retriever and I quite enjoyed that energy as I have never read something like it before. Also I loved the sexual tension between these 2. It was a slow build but it was perfect. 

 

I really enjoyed this book and will continue the series when the author writes more. I would like a Heath storyline because even though he didn’t get the girl he was a nice guy. The only thing that threw me with this book was they never actually said the ages of the main characters other than there is a 6 year age gap. I would have liked to know their ages. I gave this book 4.25 ⭐️ and 2 🌶️ Harrison was willing to try anything with Harlow and the pet name “little witch” first I heard that one and loved it.
