Another sweet book in this series. Uncomplicated love, a genuine connection, no games, just clear courting and the sweetest chemistry. There’s a tragic past (of course) and grief is a theme, but in general it’s such a feel-good story.

I read book 2 first and loved that more, but I really did enjoy this one as well. I only wish it didn’t end so abruptly.

I listened to the audiobook and Joel Leslie did a good job. He is definitely a great choice for fantasy books.
