Don't Let Me Down
by Kate Stollenwerck
adventurous
emotional
hopeful
fast-paced
This was a fantastic sequel (the only time I might say this but you NEED to read "Hello, Goodbye" first to understand this one).
I missed Gigi so much but I love that Hailey continues to find out the truth about Jack for her and her family's sake. She, along with Blake, get invited to Israel to share her story from the previous book.
This book continues the quest to find out what Jack might have done with other recovered arts of the thefts from Jewish families in the war. In Israel and Paris, they will find unlikely allies and friends previously left but not forgotten. Jack's story is complicated but the truth comes out and it's really a hero story. I found myself in tears near the end in parts.
