this was a great fast and easy but well written story.
a nice historical fiction with a bit of a mystery, murder and some bad people but at the heart of it a story about a family and the place they live and what they need to do to survive.
for everyone that wants the historical fiction setting and story without having to read a 350+ book? this is fantastic!
a great story to try a new genre or a new author or both!
i can only recommend it!
i really enjoyed this and am so thankful that i discovered this little “quick reads” series of books! i will defiantly see if i can get more from this to find some other authors and see if i enjoy their writing and get a quicker read in along the way!
