Pieces of Me by N.R. Walker
4.0

Book safety, content warnings, and tropes down below.

He sighed and leaned against the back of the sofa, holding my hand and looking at me all gooey. It did crazy things to my heart. “You make it easy, you know,” he whispered. “Make what easy?” “To fall in love with you.”

I made the mistake of listening to book 3 before I reviewed this one, and then waited several days before starting the review. I don’t really remember what happens in which book anymore, lol. I do know that I really enjoyed the book. It’s a very heartwarming and lovely story about two people who are obviously meant to be together. Dallas is the most supportive and loving person ever, and would do anything for Justin.

I do feel like I would’ve enjoyed it if the books were a tad bit angstier honestly. They’re sort of heavy, but not angsty. Still great obviously. N. R. Walker does it again.

I don’t actually remember if this starts in book 2 or not, but I think so: the fact that Justin is a total c*ck-hungry size queen bottom was the nicest surprise, and when the spice started spicing? Oh boy. More on that in the review for book 3.

“Fucking hell, Dallas,” he said. “Your dick is huge. Should I . . . I dunno, should I get it its own pillow?” […] “It’s huge.” He was still staring at my dick. “I mean, it explains a lot, like why I spent four years with a Bulldogs supporter.”

“Can I get you anything? A juice or a cup of tea?” He smiled. “A cuddle. Always makes me feel better.” “I can do that.” “A proper lie-down cuddle,” he added. “And you can rub circles on my back and put your fingers through my hair.”
