Lighthearted, funny, engaging, and thank God not concerned with political correctness! Great premise, set in a Manhattan private school -- I love academia and Manhattan both. I would've liked more focus on the school and less on Robert. A fair share of the characters are unlikable but nothing terrible. The ending is very satisfying. I plan to read this author again. I don't know why she gets low ratings. She's a good writer, this is a good book. Chick lit but with depth.
