A Favor for a Favor
by Helena Hunting
This book had me wishing that someone would make a tv series from Helena Hunting’s hot hockey player stories. It also had me wondering if the author had a Pinterest board with images of all of Bishop’s hilarious underwear. I mean, I kept wanting to go and google for pictures of the different ones that were described in the book. Definitely Bishop was a total a-hole to start the book with how he treated Stevie. But the way they had their little underwear face-off every morning was hilarious, and totally made me want my own Bishop. I really liked how other than his a-hole tendencies, he was a pretty good guy. He didn’t have a long list of puck bunny history that Stevie had to worry about, he was a good big brother, and the connection between his brother and Stevie’s dad was a really perfect way to connect the two. It was fun seeing RJ and Lainey, since Stevie is RJ’s sister. And of course any and all time spent with Violet is time that makes me happy. This was definitely very hard to put down, and I would have finished much quicker if work and sleep so that I could work didn’t get in the way.
