A fun fake dating turns into true love romance! This was such a heartwarming and emotional story of heartbreak, healing and love. I really loved that this one was about an older couple (in their 30s) and both were well established in their careers. Laurie was pretty badass and I really enjoyed her strong character. Jamie was absolutely adorable and they were so much fun together. I love how McFarlane’s books always focus on self discovery and healing. It’s a theme she writes well!
