I knew roughly thirty pages into this that it would be a five star read for me, and it just got better and better as it went along. I thought I loved Part of Your World, and I did, but I loved Yours Truly even more! I loved the way grief, trauma, chronic illness, anxiety and other heavy topics were handled; it never felt fake or forced and Abby Jimenez did such a great job weaving this story and making it hilarious, heartwarming, gut wrenching and oh so beautiful. I absolutely adored Bri and Jacob's relationship, especially as friends who grew into something more. It was so clear that they were meant for each other and the awkward but funny meet cute they had turned into such an epic love story. I related to Jacob and his social anxiety on so many levels. I don't want to say too much more about this book for risk of spoiling it, but I cannot recommend it enough.
