This book was a beautiful comfort read. My heart felt so full, almost the entire book, broke a lot in the middle and was full again by the end.

The author creates these very dynamic characters that make it very easy to fall in love with them. There are parts where it can lull a little, but I think it’s what makes it so comforting. Really recommend if you’re coming off a dark book that broke your heart.

I do wish we’d learned a bit more about the characters in certain aspects. I also would have loved to see food that we don’t normally see in the real world.

Overall though it was comfort in a book.
