4.5 stars. Fantastic conclusion to the trilogy.

I couldn’t wait to get my grabby little hands on this final instalment in the trilogy and I was not disappointed.

The dual POV gives great insight into the blooming relationship between Emery and Graham. There’s plenty of witty back and forth banter, deadpan humour and quiet, intimate moments between them. The focus is on the relationship between these characters, not steamy times, and it is beautifully done. My heart went out to Emery with all that he’s endured and the gentle, calming nature of Graham is a perfect counterpoint to Emery’s sharp edges.

The characters from previous instalments are all involved and Ari still takes great pleasure in tormenting Rowan! It takes a few unexpected plot twists and turns but the overall story arc is resolved at last and everyone gets to take a breath, settle back into village life and enjoy some peace and quiet.
