4 stars - starting a book by Juliet Marillier feels like a cozy hug. Her particular brand of fantasy is slow and classic, romantic and a little bit political. I enjoyed very much the fact that Clodagh was sort of the “normal” sister. Not a seer or sorceress. Her story was different and very special in its own way. Always excited for my next book by this author.
