I didn't realize this was a sequel because Trussoni did a fantastic job of bringing the reader up to date. There was a lot of references to Japanese culture which I enjoyed. I also found the writing style to be upbeat and interesting. There was some infodumping and the middle felt very drawn out compared to the ending. I'm also not sure if I liked the reveal of the Big Bad, but it was a fun quick read overall.
