The Prince by Jennifer L. Armentrout
5.0

I devoured this novella basically in one night. Staying up later than I should have with work the next day. I love the Wicked trilogy, and getting to have more characters' stories told was like Christmas and my birthday all wrapped up in one. The Prince was a character we hated in The Wicked Trilogy, so at the end of that one, when you knew more about him, it left an opening for more story with him. Brighton was a character that we saw around in the stories before, mainly with her mom who was a little out there due to some earlier issues. In this story, the Prince is annoying, as many times the hot guy is, but it is an attraction that grows on you, just like it does for Brighton. So that's why the way this ends is so much of a heartbreaking cliffhanger! Armentrout is really going to have to write more with these characters for us. I'm not sure how long I can wait, or if I can wait, if there is no plans for more.

Of course one thing I really, really enjoyed was that even though our main characters weren't Ren and Ivy from the original trilogy, we still got lots and lots of Tink! I love Tink so much, and he was still so much fun in this story! I'll probably read any story that's got him in it, but even more now, I need to know about the King!!!
