Oh man, I don't think I've ever related to a FMC as much as I did to Megan. If I were single and written into a book, this would be me to a T. Megan's life is in a bit of a chaotic spin after her long-time roommate moves out to live with her new partner. Through a series of events, Ollie (her dad's employee) moves in to help her out for a while. Forced proximity turns to friendship and trust, and slowly burns into one of the sweetest relationships I've read recently. Ollie is the ultimate golden retriever book boyfriend and checked all the boxes. My absolute favourite thing he did was stand up for Megan when she couldn't do it herself. The tension in this book is top-notch, but the payoff feels realistic and earned. I think this was my favourite HEA of the series.
