These books may be short, but I feel like they have so much to say. They are just thoroughly enjoyable as novellas, packed with so much character and heart. Between this and In the Lives of Puppets, who knew that you could care so much about robot characters? Trust me, you'll realize that when In the Lives of Puppets by TJ Klune comes out in April.
One of the things that resonated the most with me in this book was towards the end, when Dex was talking about how they believed that other people deserved to just exist and didn't need to work for their comfort, but they didn't believe that about themselves. There are so many people that I know that also think the way Dex does, and we should be more like Mosscap. You don't need to earn your comfort! If you need a book that's just going to be a comfort to read, I definitely recommend these.
