Oh my word, I love this story! Back in the city of Chance where magic and unexplained things can happen as part of everyday life, Beau and April being able to speak telepathically was such a fun idea and I love that it played our similarly to a long distance letter writing relationship in a way. The way they could be themselves and fall for each other and work through their own issues was wonderful. 

Update: Still really loved this one and that it is magical version of a long distance relationship. Also, damn, THAT scene (IYKYK). I am not sure I realized the first time around that this is the first in the series with dual POV. It makes sense to do it with this one since they're talking telepathically and getting a glimpse into only one person's head wouldn't be as fun. But also, I just love dual POV. And I love these two! So good!
