The Fall of Crazy House by Gabrielle Charbonnet, James Patterson
3.0

This book did not live up to expectations. I didn’t have high expectations to begin with. First off, it’s the sequel to Crazy House. A house where kids learn to fight and are constantly fighting each other as a show. A show for what who know. At the end of book 1 the twin girls and many others broke out of Crazy House and have now joined the resistance. They have learned that their poor, tranquil and boring lives on the farm were purposely set that way to make things easier for bigger society. But we don’t get to really see that society. We see the girls take positions at the rebel camp and learn to fight. We get some background information but not enough to fill in all the holes. Plus we never get anything else about Crazy House. This book is Fall of Crazy House, there was no fall. Heck the rebellion barely started. And the book does not seem set up for a 3rd. And even if there was a third story I am pretty sure I wouldn’t read it. The book was nice enough, but no staying power and an overall disappointment.
