Every Day
by David Levithan
The concept of switching bodies every day is so interesting. I loved the idea of getting to literally put yourself in someone else's shoes. It would be an exciting yet terrifying way to live. I inhaled this book, however the only thing I couldn't wrap my head around was the insta-love. You just met this girl, A. How can you say you love her? You can be attracted to someone and want to see them again after one day, but I felt the love should have been saved for later on in their relationship. I believe you can fall fast, but not that fast. Aside from that I did love the tragic nature of their love affair and it ended very realistically, but now I'm left with so many more questions. If you're searching for a different kind of love story then look no further than this book. I don't think you'll be disappointed, but you'll definitely be left wanting more.
