I feel like I shouldn't rate the first book by an author I plan to read more by as a 5 cuz then there is nowhere to go but I really enjoyed this book! Small town, friends to lovers, sexual awakening and coming out, anxiety rep, steamy scenes, relatable characters. Just lovely. The author said she wants readers to laugh, cry, and swoon--and I did! Plus, indie Canadian author and the book takes place in Montreal, which just made me want to visit it more.
