To be pulled and pushed everywhere every day can not be a glamorous life. For Katy all she wants is clean air,a little scenery, and a place to make friends. But at the back of a train that is never likely to happen. This book was originally published in 1971, making it older than I am. But the story still stands. Bill Peet is an excellent rhymes man and has a way of illustrating that is fun and timeless. I have read other books by Peet, and am a little ashamed this took me so long.
