very beautiful story about humanity and exploring the impact of small choices on life trajectory. I think the author did a wonderful job of exploring themes of life fulfillment, relationships, and autonomy. 

The story follows phoebe as she contemplates her life choices and purpose;

following fertility/ivf struggles, her husbands affair, divorce

and gets caught up in a luxury wedding week at the hotel.  very emotional, dark, and heavy read but i liked the unlikely pair or Lila and Phoebe. They really challenged each other and had a lot of personal development throughout story
