I loved this book. It’s the first V E Schwab I’ve read, despite not being the first I’ve owned and from the very beginning I was head over heels for the prose style.
There were a few points where I tried to guess what the twist was, what dramatic thing would tear Henry and Addie apart. I didn’t manage to guess before it happened.
The way it was told, flicking between past and present, captured my attention and though I finished it fairly quickly (for me, atm) I feel like I could have savoured this book for months.
