A bit sidetracked by this book as it wasn’t exactly what I expected but a good read overall
I haven’t read the first book in the series and to my shame, I admit that this was my first book by the author even if I own a few of her other stories. But after reading this one and having the chance to meet so many secondary characters, I will read them because their place in Ryn’s and Boone story is too strong and important to be overlooked.
I enjoyed the writing quite a lot, as it’s so easy to read and just flows through the chapters and steaminess of a very interesting and, I must say surprisingly good story.
To me, it seemed more like a discovery of one’s self, of what Ryan wants from her life and herself even, and the fact that Boone is there to support her decisions every step of the way, it’s just a bonus for a great hero.
They are forgetting everything around when their smoke catches fire and the steamy scenes have pumped my blood pressure high with every other page and moment of discovering new layers of “this is what I want and need”
Now I can see why the author is a must-read among the romance lovers.
