Fake It 'Til You Break It
by Meagan Brandy
3.5 stars.
This was an okay book. I don’t know if it’s because I just finished Reign of Brayshaw, but I felt like it was lacking something, a little edginess.
Having said that, I did like Nick. Give me a vulnerable hero with secrets and I’m all in.
I didn’t feel as if I really knew who Demi was supposed to be. Was she the quiet, unassuming girl? Or was she the confident, popular girl? She was a little confusing to me.
I also felt like this was perhaps book 2 of a series, and maybe it is, with Travis and Krista as book one.
Still, as I said, this was an okay book, just lacking something.
