Better late than never, right? While I wish I had read 'Her Favorite Jack O' Lantern' by Rebecca Rennick during the fall season, I'm still thoroughly enjoying it now. The story of Jack and Sally has captured my heart, and I love how relatable Sally is as a character. Jack is also a great protagonist - his devotion to Sally is admirable and sweet. My only minor criticism is that I wish Jack was still in the army, but I understand the author's creative choices. Overall, this book has won me over, and I'm so glad I finally got to read it
