This is a good way to start a fairy tale, is it not?
this is very much a short story version or retelling of a fairytale, both in the way the plot is made up and the way the story is written.
it had a few falter moments -not really too o. as compared to actual fairytales- but is overall an interesting story about revenge, resilience and learning about what makes someone into who they are.
what i found a bit strange is that it was ver hard to tell when this story was supposed to be placed in. there was a way of life that are overly simplified -no actual bathroom without having to warm up it up by boiling the water before, sleeping on straw filled mattresses- but also mentions of aeroplanes and around the world wars known cities and countries.
overall a good read, felt a bit long for what it told but was entertaining and well written for the most part.
