The Woman in the Window
by A.J. Finn
Well, I definitely enjoyed this book. I gave it 4/5 stars because I thought it was a repetitive thriller. It was just like other thrillers I’ve read in the sense that the main character is unreliable therefore making the readers and the other characters in the book doubt them, and then the main character being right about everything.
With that said, I thought the concept was unique, having her be agoraphobic, and I thought the book was well mapped out so that when the pieces did fall into place it made sense. I was very impressed with the twist where we discover that her husband and daughter died in the car crash. That I was not expecting at all. But, the very last twist, having Ethan be the killer, that kind of disappointed me. I’m not sure why, but having a 16 year old boy be the killer didn’t really make sense to me. But, it wasn’t what I expected so that was a success.
Overall, I did enjoy this book and I definitely will read more of A.J. Finn
