It was fine. It was a fun read and the premise of an alien horror Christmas novella is unique but for me it is we Just an average read. If it was scarier and a bit longer I probably would have liked it more . I really appreciated the afterword though and the some of the characters who were more fleshed out than others. 

Not amazing, but had enough intrigue and was fast paced enough for me to enjoy!
