The Origin of Species by Charles Darwin
3.5

POWERED through this. It's been on my reading bucket list since I was a teenager but holy cow, it's a slow-moving and boring beast. Most non-fiction/scientific books that I read at least try to entertain but Darwin really was 'that guy', hey? It was like reading a journal article, which I guess I should have figured. I'm still proud of myself for reading it but like...what's my takeaway? Because his theories are already implemented or disproven. It is a flex, I suppose to say that I finished it. Would I ever recommend it? Only for my snobby sciencey friends. A regular person should not have to slog amongst those long chapters, massive paragraphs, and teeny tiny margins.
