This was a beautiful look into life in a war zone. I haven’t read much about the siege on Sarajevo but I found this very insightful and I’m starting to change my mind about small life books during big historical events. I understand that this was from the perspective of someone who didn’t know much about the war but I wish I had been told more about it. All in all though, it was highly enjoyable in a heartbreaking way.
