A truly beautiful retelling. I felt immersed from the off and really enjoyed it.
I feel if you’re one of the lucky people who can visualise when they read, this would be perfect! I unfortunately can not and that’s where the book lost me. There was lots of beautiful description but without the ability to visualise, I found it very difficult to wade through!
