In the Weeds by B.K. Borison
4.0

BK Borison does it again with another swoony & steamy small town romance. I really enjoyed Beckett & Evelyn as individuals and as a couple. Beckett won my heart in the first book when he adopted four kittens and the pet dad continues with a baby duckling! I love how hardworking he is, and even as a major grump, he is a great friend and brother. We even get some social anxiety representation. Evelyn was also amazing. I related so much to her struggle to find her happy and I loved how she put herself first. Evelyn was super down to earth and not what you'd expect from an influencer.

We have so many sweet moments between this couple in this book. Beck & Evie are obviously so smitten with each other. When they see each other again they have such a fun balance of attraction & awkwardness that felt realistic. And things get steamyyyyyy. Where can I find myself a tattooed, farmer/ astronomer?!

Borison does the small town thing so well. I loved the meddling neighbors who love bet on the most recent couples. This whole town has a found family aspect and really show up for each other when it is needed. The phone tree is SO FUNNY.

Such a quick & easy read. I can't wait to pick up the next one this summer!
