One Iridescent Night
by Brianne Wik
I absolutely loved this book! I regret not reading it the moment it came out but at the same time I am kicking myself for not waiting for the next book. It was beautifully written and I must thank Brianne Wik for including a tigger warning at the beginning of the book. Evy is a stong and inspiring young woman and I can't particularly speak to how well her PTSD was written but I thought it was clear but not overpowering. I appreciated that she was portrayed as more than just her PTSD. I also must say how much I love Ryker and Liam. I honestly don't know how I'd choose which one if I were Evy, they are both amazing men who I would very much like to marry. They are kind and they understand that Evy will talk to them when she wants to. So much in literature, we read about men who are so pushy and can't allow the woman to be away from them and this was so refreshing. And don't get me started on the icon that is Becca. She is hilarious and I love a woman who isn't afraid of speaking her mind.
I was surprised at how quick of a read this book was. I started reading it when I went to bed and I had it finished in 3 hours! I literally could not put it down no matter how many times my mom told me to go to bed.
I must also give a big thanks to Kathryn Marie for telling me I should read this book because boy she was so right.
This is now one of my favorite books and I can't wait to read what happens next! Lots of love!
