I genuinely enjoyed this book. I will admit it was slow to start, and not a lot of things were explained, especially Lydia, but if you battle through it is worth it.
I will admit that Teriana’s character is still a bit of a mystery to me. Is she a hardass? Is she soft? At times she’s both, which is welcome, but also a tad confusing.
I love Marcus. He is strong but has a heart, which I love.
I did also love the fluidity of relationships, miki and quintus among my favourites, but I would like to see more.
I am looking forward to the rest of this series and can’t wait to start the second!
