Flaws of characters a main focus: Complicated

Having been in a relationship very much like the one that Iris was leaving at the beginning of the book I understand her reasons for doing and saying what she did but damn she kept that lie going for far too long. It was very cathartic to
see her new family stand up to Adam and give him a slight comeuppance, though I think he deserved a lot more

This was very much a book that dealt with romantic love, familial love, and platonic love as well as loss and grief. Would make a decent Hallmark movie.
