Kiss My Putt by Tara Sivec
4.0

I bought this back when it first came out, I think, so it is part of my Tackle My TBR Challenge for the year. I took longer to read it because I only read a little at a time in between review books, but of course I loved it as I do all books I’ve read by this author so far. Tons of laugh out loud moments, and I loved the best friends to enemies to lovers story that this was.

While this wasn’t as side-splitting ridiculously funny as the Chocolate series by this author, it still had so many bits that made me laugh a lot. And while the main couple of the story were great, as usual, the author added in so many wonderful and quirky characters to fill in this little island world the story took place in. Lots of characters that I would love to see in their own stories, and I know some will have stories since there are at least two more books in this series. Knowing that the author uses names of her fans in her Facebook group for some of the characters in the book always makes me wonder just who is in there. I don’t know enough of the names of those group members to catch them myself, but it is always fun when a person pops into the FB group because they have found their own name or someone they know. And hey, what a way to keep us buying and reading her books!

Oh, Caddyshack is a favorite movie of mine, my family used to watch it a lot when I was younger, and we quote it all the time. So every time there was anything even remotely related to that I loved it. And yes, that is probably where I’ve gotten all of my limited knowledge about golf at, is from that movie. lol

Sorry this review isn’t as detailed as I’d like, with having started reading this back in August, and all the other books I’ve read and listened to since then as I slowly read a bit at a time to make sure I got all my review books read on time, I don’t have a lot of details to share. But I do recommend it and look forward to reading the next one!
