Cade is the town playboy and in a way it made sense with it being a small tourist town. Maddox is in town for the summer to get away from his overbearing family. These two are always bumping in to each other, no like literally running in to each other in town lol.
Things start out a little tense between the two but over time they realized they couldn't deny the mutual attraction between them and began to explore where things went with them.
These two had the constant back and forth, I have feelings for you but I know it's only for the summer thing going on for the majority of the book. There were parts that dragged on a little bit but I didn't feel as if had that much impact on the overall story. One thing that bugged me more than anything was Cade's thoughts but then his actions were the complete opposite. I was so happy when he finally got his head on straight.
I loved this little town, all the side characters were a nice addition. Interested to read more on Sloan and Carter in the next book since we didn't really get much on them in this book.
