From the first few pages I was captivated, surprising myself because I didn't expect to enjoy it much. Kell was such an interesting character, and him and Lila together are a strange pair, but they fit. The writing was strangely comforting and the flow was a nice pace. I like the idea of the other worlds but I want to know more about the politics. Why do the royals communicate at all? The magic system didn't feel completely original but it did feet unique. I can't wait to follow Kell and Lila on the rest of their journey.
