David F. Walker is a very talented writer. I say this with only reading volume 1-2 of Power Man and Iron Fist. I think he's such a good writer that I plan on checking out his other books. I really dug the first volume as it's one of the best FUN books I've read in forever. I enjoyed volume 2 too but why is it a 3 out of 5 when the first was 5 out of 5? Civil War 2.

I actually didn't HATE Civil War 2 event. I just thought it was meh. This event kind of fucks up the flow of this volume. I thought our heroes might have skipped out on Civil War but I'm assuming editorial like "Nooooo you come here!" and bam.

What I liked: Love the chemistry between Cage and Danny. They are just so fun together. I also love their more personal look into their lives and how they've come up similar but so very different. Also love all the supporting cast, especially the magician because he's too funny. It's great to see a large cast, a very diverse cast, really work well together. I give all credit to David for being able to give such a large cast a lot of different voices. The last few panels hit hard for me and loved those moments of character growth.

What I didn't like: The art doesn't seem as well done in this than the last. Was there a different artist? Just seems a bit off. I also hated carol in here, as I did during all of Civil War 2, and I just felt the whole prison scene went on too long and didn't give me the feels I wanted. The first two issues were great, but the other two were just okay. The christmas special was fun, but nothing special.

Overall I really do love these characters. So sad the next arc is the last one. I wish David could write 5 or 6 volumes worth of Power Man and Iron Fist. This one will be missed sadly! A 3 out of 5.
